Thailand for Diwali, planned end to end

This is a fixed-date group tour built for Gujarati families who want to spend the Diwali break somewhere warm without planning a thing. You fly from Ahmedabad via Delhi, start with three nights on Phuket's Patong beach, move down the coast to Ao Nang in Krabi, then finish with three nights in Bangkok's Pratunam shopping district. All three departures are in Thailand for Diwali on Sunday 8 November.
An Indian tour manager travels with the group for the whole trip, every dinner is at an Indian restaurant, and the big days out (Phi Phi, the Four Islands and Safari World) include lunch, park fees and transfers. Two free days, one in Phuket and one in Bangkok, leave room for the beach and for shopping.

Meet the group at Ahmedabad airport for the flight to Delhi, connecting to Phuket overnight.
Phuket

Land in Phuket at 06:35, where our team meets you on arrival. Stop for breakfast on the way to the hotel, drop your luggage and freshen up. In the afternoon a guided city tour covers:
- Wat Chalong, the island's most revered temple
- Karon Viewpoint, looking over three bays at once
- Promthep Cape, at Phuket's southern tip
Check in and settle in. Indian dinner in the evening.
Day02 Phi Phi Island by speedboatFull day at sea BLD
Leave around 07:30 by speedboat for the Phi Phi islands: limestone cliffs rising straight out of clear water, snorkelling stops and time on the beach. Lunch is served on Phi Phi Don. Back in Phuket by about 17:00, time to freshen up, then out again for Indian dinner.
Day03 Phuket at leisurePatong beach, Bangla Road, markets BD
The day is yours. Patong beach is on the doorstep, with Bangla Road, the markets and the shopping streets close by. Your tour manager can arrange optional excursions locally. Indian dinner in the evening.
Krabi

Breakfast and check out. Travel by coach to Ao Nang in Krabi, roughly three hours along the coast. Check in and keep the evening free to walk the beach road. Indian dinner.
Day05 Krabi Four Islands by longtailPoda, Chicken, Tup Island, Phra Nang BLD
Head out on a traditional Thai longtail boat for the Four Island tour:
- Poda Island
- Chicken Island
- Tup Island, with its sandbar that appears at low tide
- Phra Nang Cave Beach, beneath the Railay cliffs
Lunch on the tour. Back in the late afternoon, then Indian dinner.
Bangkok

Breakfast and check out, then transfer to Krabi airport for the flight to Bangkok, landing at Don Mueang at 12:30. Transfer to the hotel in Pratunam and check in. In the afternoon, a city and temple tour with a licensed guide:
- Wat Traimit, home to the five-and-a-half tonne solid gold Buddha
- A neighbouring temple housing a reclining Buddha image
Indian dinner.
Day07 Safari World and Marine ParkFull day with lunch at the park BLD
A full day at Safari World. The open-range safari drive comes first, then the Marine Park and its live shows: dolphins, sea lions, birds and the stunt show. Lunch is at the park. Back in the evening for Indian dinner.
Day08 Bangkok at leisurePratunam shopping BD
A free day for shopping. Platinum Fashion Mall, Indra Square and Pratunam market, three of Bangkok's best-known wholesale and fashion markets, are all within walking distance of the hotel. Your tour manager can arrange optional excursions locally. Indian dinner.
Day09 Fly home to AhmedabadBangkok to Delhi to Ahmedabad, same night B
Breakfast and check out at 11:00. Transfer to Suvarnabhumi airport for the flight home via Delhi, landing in Ahmedabad the same night at 22:20.

5, 6 and 7 November are the dates you leave Ahmedabad, so you land in Phuket on 6, 7 or 8 November. The Delhi connections are 2h 20m going out and 1h 55m coming back, from the same terminal. All times are local and may be changed by the airline.

Good to know
- All dinners are at Indian restaurants. The Phi Phi and Safari World lunches are buffets and are not Indian, so tell us about any Jain or strict vegetarian needs when you book.
- The Phi Phi tour runs on shared boats, so the group may be split across more than one boat.
- Sea trips depend on the weather. If a boat day is called off for safety, we arrange an alternative of similar value.
- Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your return date.
- Indians can visit Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days. Every traveller files the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before arrival, and we help you with it.

Cancellation is counted from the date we receive your written notice. Seats and rooms are pre-purchased and confirmed first come, first served. Flight timings, hotels and the order of sightseeing may change without reducing what is included.
Questions before you book
Do Indians need a visa for this Thailand tour?
No visa is needed. From 15 September 2026, Indian ordinary passport holders can visit Thailand for tourism for up to 30 days without a visa. You need a passport valid for at least six months from your return date, and every traveller must file the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before arrival. We help every guest with the arrival card.
What is the difference between the 5, 6 and 7 November departures?
The itinerary, hotels and price are the same. Each group leaves Ahmedabad at 20:20 on its departure date and lands in Phuket at 06:35 the next morning, so the 5 November group is home on 14 November, the 6 November group on 15 November and the 7 November group on 16 November. All three groups are in Thailand on Diwali, 8 November.
Is vegetarian and Jain food available?
All 8 dinners are at Indian restaurants. The lunches on the Phi Phi and Safari World days are buffets and are not Indian, so tell us at the time of booking if you need Jain or strict vegetarian meals and we will arrange for it.
What taxes are added to the price?
The price of ₹1,24,999 per person on twin sharing is before taxes. 5% GST and 2% TCS are added to the invoice. TCS is not an extra cost: it is collected against your PAN and can be adjusted against your income tax.
What is the last date to book?
10 October 2026, or earlier if seats sell out. Pay 30% to book and the balance by 10 October 2026. Bookings made on or after 6 October 2026 fall inside the non-refundable window and are payable in full.
