Late November is when Japan's maples turn crimson and gold, and this tour follows the season from Tokyo and Mt Fuji down through Nagoya, Nara and Kyoto to Kobe, Hiroshima and Osaka. It is a fully escorted group tour: an English and Hindi speaking tour leader is with you from arrival in Tokyo on Day 1 to departure from Kansai on Day 10, and a licensed English-speaking guide joins every day.
Food is the worry most Gujarati travellers bring to Japan, so it is covered: breakfast every day, 8 Indian set lunches and 9 Indian dinners, with veg, non-veg and Jain options. Breakfast and check out. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Kansai International Airport, and its free shuttle takes you there in time for your flight home. With a later flight, an outlet mall within walking distance of the hotel is ideal for last-minute souvenirs.

The tour is priced in Japanese yen. Rupee amounts are approximate, at the 26 September 2026 exchange rate (1 JPY = about ₹0.61). The final rupee amount is fixed at the exchange rate on your payment date. 5% GST and 2% TCS are added to the invoice. Flights and the visa fee are quoted separately.

Are flights included?
No. This is a land package that starts on arrival at Tokyo Narita airport on 16 November 2026 and ends at Kansai International Airport, Osaka, on 25 November 2026. We book your flights separately, from Ahmedabad or any other city, timed to one of the three airport pickups at 10:00, 15:00 or 20:00.
Do Indians need a visa for Japan, and by when?
Yes. Indian passport holders need a Japan tourist visa. For this group, visa processing must be completed by 20 October 2026, so book early and share your documents quickly. We prepare and submit your visa file. The visa fee is not included in the tour price.
Why is the price in yen?
All services on this tour are paid for in Japan, so it is priced at JPY 3,75,000 per person on twin, double or triple sharing, which is approx. ₹2,30,000 at the 26 September 2026 exchange rate. The final rupee amount is fixed at the exchange rate on your payment date. 5% GST and 2% TCS are added to the invoice, and TCS can be adjusted against your income tax.
Is vegetarian and Jain food available?
Yes. Veg, non-veg and Jain options are available. The tour includes daily breakfast, 8 Indian set lunches and 9 Indian dinners, plus two 500 ml bottles of water a day.
Will we see the autumn colours?
The second half of November is usually the peak of the autumn leaf season in Kyoto, Nara and Osaka, and this tour spends 20 to 24 November in that region. Colours depend on each year's weather, so the exact shade cannot be guaranteed.
