Japan has moved from bucket-list dream to bookable reality for Ahmedabad travellers. A favourable yen, high visa approval rates with proper documentation, and one-stop connectivity via Delhi and Mumbai mean the classic Golden Route - Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka - is now within reach of a well-planned week. Our Japan tour package from Ahmedabad handles the parts that intimidate first-timers: the visa file, rail passes, hotels in the right neighbourhoods, and vegetarian food planning.
Tokyo deserves three nights minimum. Cross the organised chaos of Shibuya Crossing, visit the 7th-century Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, see the city from the Tokyo Skytree (634 m), and lose yourself in the digital art of teamLab. Akihabara's electronics, Harajuku's fashion streets, and Shinjuku's neon nightscape complete a city that feels like the future and the past at once.
The day trip to Hakone delivers the postcard: a cruise on Lake Ashi, the Hakone Ropeway over volcanic Owakudani valley, and - on clear days, best November to February - the perfect cone of Mount Fuji (3,776 m) filling the horizon. Then board the Shinkansen bullet train (up to 320 km/h) for the two-hour glide to Kyoto - an experience in itself and included in our packages.
Kyoto, Japan's imperial capital for 1,000 years, holds 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The vermilion tunnel of 10,000 torii gates at Fushimi Inari, the gold-leafed Kinkaku-ji pavilion, the towering Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and the geisha district of Gion are the essentials; dawn visits beat the crowds and our itineraries are sequenced accordingly. A half-day in Nara adds the Great Buddha of Todai-ji and its famously polite bowing deer.
Osaka finishes the route with Japan's most fun city: the neon canyon of Dotonbori, Osaka Castle, and - for families - Universal Studios Japan with Super Nintendo World. Osaka's Kansai Airport (KIX) lets you fly home without backtracking to Tokyo.
When to go: cherry blossom season (late March to mid-April) is magical and priced accordingly - we open sakura bookings 6 months out. Autumn (October-November) rivals it with red maple foliage. Winter is the value season with snow scenery; the Gujarat summer months are Japan's humid season but ideal for Hokkaido extensions. Whichever window you pick, our team handles the VFS visa file, the rail passes, and a city-by-city vegetarian restaurant map - the three things Gujarati travellers worry about most.

Yes - a tourist visa via VFS Global, typically processed in 5-7 working days with a complete file. Approval rates are high when documentation (ITRs, bank statements, itinerary, hotel bookings) is properly prepared, which we do for every client.
Via Delhi or Mumbai with direct Tokyo services (Air India, ANA, JAL) or one-stop via Singapore, Bangkok, or Hong Kong. Total 12-16 hours; return fares ₹55,000-₹85,000 by season.
By October-November for late March/early April travel. Sakura-week hotels in Kyoto sell out months ahead and airfares rise steeply. Autumn foliage (October-November travel) needs booking by July-August.
Less than its reputation. With the yen favourable in 2026, budget ₹3,000-₹5,000 per person daily for meals and local transport. Convenience-store meals cost ₹250-₹400 and metro rides ₹100-₹180. It is the flights and hotels that need early booking - which is what the package locks in.
Very. Japan is safe, spotless, and punctual; trains have priority seating and stations have lifts. We pace family itineraries with one anchor sight per day plus Universal Studios or DisneySea, and pick hotels beside metro stations to minimise walking for seniors.
Starting from ₹1,50,000 per person
